ACCOMPLISHMENTS What has Art Management & Planning Associates done?
- completed a 14 state art inventory for Qwest Communications and managed the placement, retrieval data base and storage of fine art in Colorado
- organized exhibits and developed site specific art commissions for The Children’s Hospital
- developed a public art process for the Arvada Center for the Arts & Humanities and the cities of Arvada and Denver to coordinate the selection and installation of public art
- worked with a team of developers, building owners architects and landscape architects to select the large scale sculpture by internationally known artist Kenneth Snelson for 17th Street Plaza in downtown Denver
- managed the art process for an art committee to create a collection of contemporary and historic American art for the law firm of Sherman and Howard L.L.C.
- developed an art program and employee centered art process for Kaiser Permanente Colorado region . During the first 11 years of the program over 500 works by 400 regional, minority and national artists have been selected and installed. Developed supporting programs including children’s art workshops, artist in residence programs, public outreach and support services for employee art shows.
- updated and compiled an inventory of art in all of the facilities of USBank
- created a format and curated the art auction for the Colorado Alliance of Business
- curated exhibits for the Arvada Center for the Arts & Humanities, the Boulder Arts Center and the Center for Visual Arts
- coordinated Artful Cities a major national conference on public art and architecture
- designed the Colorado Artists exhibit at the Cherry Creek Arts Festival
